Our team is composed by:

• • a wiktionarian adding a lot of content: Lucas.
  • someone thinking on rules, information structure etc. on wiktionary: Noé
  • and a wikipedian sometimes lost in Wiktionary: myself.

  • slow beginning in 2004. Two steps were relevant:
  • Importing the eighth dictionary of Académie Française (?)
  • Importing the Littré dictionary (?)

• 4)
  • Specific structuration of information
  • importance of regional languages
  • focusing on source especially for ethymology

• 5)
  • Until now a low level of active contributors; something like between 35 to 50 per month
  • Difficulty to explain what we are and what we do exactly: difficulty to defend IEG grant dedicated to wiktionary is an example
  • the 2 last issues imply the newt consequence: difficulty to start new project cause lack of money &/or active people

  • the purpose of the current presentation is to explain what we try to do for answering this issues:
  • Anyway french wiktionarian manage to talk about their work: Noé is talking about.
  • There is the continuous idea to self-organize in the goal to get a better project for getting a better content: Lucas is goinf to talk about.
