Discussion:val

The Swedish word "val" ("whale") is of masculine gender (or at least common), true, but the other meaning, for "choice" or "election", should be neuter. I'm not sure how to fix it, my French is less than abysmal, but just for the record I note it here... \Mike 9 octobre 2006 à 13:09 (UTC)

And further: I don't know from where the 'synonym' "valakt" comes, but at least today it has quite a different meaning: it has something to do with "rules and regulations concerning elections and/or referenda". Unfortunately I don't know the details, but that it would be the same as "val" is IMO pretty much out of the question.
