I used to grow kangkong in the a tub as a kid where it would spill over into the rainwater drain and start growing there was well. My pet tortoise loved the stuff :)

Better suited to tropical climes, I decided to stick a bunch of tough stems into a bucket filled with a little soil and topped up with water, trying to simulate it's ideal environment. A few months of neglect later, and I have enough kangkung for one serve of [ 虾面 Har Mee prawn noodles]!
